Perge (AD 235-238) AE 35 - Maximinus I

Maximinus I, 235-238 AD. AE35 (23.65g, 11h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; on breastplate, eagle standing facing, head left, with wings folded / Cult statue of Artemis Pergaea, crescent and star above thymateria flanking; all within tetrastyle temple; in pediment, eagle facing, [head left], with wings displayed. Good VF, brown patina. Extremely rare.
