Eirenopolis (AD 222-235) AE 25 - Severus Alexander

Severus Alexander, 222-235 AD. AE30 (23.09g, 6h). Dated CY 175 (225/6 AD). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; countermark: laureate head right within circular incuse / Helios standing facing in spread quadriga, raising right hand, holding whip in left; ЄOP (date) in exergue. Near VF, green and brown patina, roughness. Rare, only four known to Karbach.
