Maximinus I, 235-238 AD. AE36 (22.77g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Dionysus and Ariadne in a cart drawn by two centaurs right, one of whom holds a lyre. Near VF, green and light brown patina. Rare mythological scene. Krizan Coll.; ex CNG 64 (9/2003), lot 709; Levante Coll., 1104.
