Ancient Greek and Roman coins from Asia Minor

Coin ID #6255

Ilion (BC 300-200) Diobol

ca 3rd century BC. AR Diobol (1.47g, 1h). Head of Athena right, wearing a crested helmet / Archaic cult statue of Athena Ilias left, holding spear and distaff, rose to left.

Apparently unpublished. The only other example of the type I could find is from a Gorny & Mosch auction. That example weight 2.87g and is attributed as a hemidrachm. One could argue that it is a tetrobol based on the standards used at Ilion at the time. This would then be a diobol.
