Ilistra (AD 161-169) AE 22 - Lucius Verus

Lucius Verus, 161-169 AD. AE22 (8.50g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; two monograms before, representing the titles Armeniacus and Parthicus / Herakles standing facing, leaning on club held in right hand, lion skin draped over left arm. VF, brown patina, a few light scratches. Very rare, only the Paris specimen recorded by von Aulock. Wagner Coll.
