Temnos (AD 180-192) AE 28 - Crispina

Crispina, wife of Commodus, 180-192 AD. AE28 - 4 Assaria (14.94g, 6h). Draped bust of Crispina to right, her hair tied in a bun at the back of her head/ Apollo standing facing, head turned to left, holding lyre resting on low column with his left hand and uncertain object in his right; at his feet to left, thymiaterion (?). Apparently unpublished. Extremely rare, if not unique. With a good portrait of Crispina and an attractive dark green patina with earthen highlights. Good very fine.
