Pinara (BC 425-400) Stater - Kherei

ca 425-400 BC. AR Stater (8.58g). Pinara mint. Helmeted head of Athena right, Lycian letters 'KhE' to left / Head of Kherei right, wearing Persian tiara (bashlyk); Lycian letters 'Pillefi' (retrograde) - 'Kherei', within dotted incuse circle. Good VF/EF, well centered with an attractive portrait on the reverse. Rare.
