Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE34 (21.65g, 6h). • AVT • K M ANT ΓOPΔIANOC •, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / EΦECIΩN Π PΩ TΩN, ACIAC in exergue, Gordian on horse rearing right, holding spear in raised right hand and reins in left; below horse, boar standing right, its body pierced by second spear. Good VF, dark green and red patina, light overall roughness, minor smoothing in fields. Rare.
