Uncertain (AD 117-138) Cistophoric Tetradrachm - Hadrian

Hadrian, 117-138 AD. AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm (10.53g, 7h). Mint D. Struck after 128 AD. Bare head right, slight drapery on left shoulder; c/m: IMP (ligate) VES AV(AV ligate) G in incuse / Roma seated left on cuirass and shield, holding Victory and spear. VF, light scratch in reverse field. Overstruck on a cistophorus of Augustus which bore the IMP VES AV countermark.
