Philip I, 244-249 AD. AE27 (15.91g). C. Julius Ponticus, archiereus. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust left, holding spear forward and shield decorated with gorgoneion / Kybele seated left on cart being drawn by two lions. Fine, patina stripped. Ex Cooper Coll. (CNG E73), lot 75.
