Time of Septimius Severus, 193-211 AD. AE24 (8.82g, 12h). Bare head of bearded Hercules right, club over shoulder / Hygieia, holding serpent and feeding bowl, standing right, vis-à-vis Aesculepius, leaning on serpent-entwined staff, standing left. EF, black-green patina with earthen overtones in devices, a couple of light scratches under patina. A fine example of this rare type. Group CEM; ex Sternberg XXI (11/1988), lot 144.
