ca 133-48 BC. AE23 (7.62g). Bust of Athena right, wearing high-crested Corinthian helmet and aegis / [Α]ΚΜΟΝΕ[ΩΝ], eagle alighting from thunderbolt, flanked by stars; magistrates ΜΗΝΟΔΟΤΟΣ and ΣΙΛΛΩΝ. Good VF, golden tan patina, just a hint of light porosity. Very rare. ex CNG Triton V (1/2002), lot 500.
