Magistrate not recorded in Münsterberg. VF, matte dark green patina, surfaces slightly rough. A unique and apparently unpublished medallic bronze. The only bronze of Severus Alexander for Pordoselene, and the only medallic sized coin for the island. The edge of the coin has been lightly tapped to create a raised rim; sestertii with this edge effect are sometimes referred to as "proto-contorniates." This coin was probably a presentation piece. mounted in a phalera for display. In the Peus catalogue it is described as lead, but in actuality is a poor quality bronze alloy.

Pordosilene (BC 400) AE 8947 viewsca 400 BC. AE8 (0.63g). Bearded head of Silenos right / Dolphin right, ΠΟΡ. Near EF, dark green, almost black, patina, with a trace of earthen encrustation around the devices. Rare.
