Last comment Click to see all comments made by Gert 02/18/14 at 02:27Unlike Waddington's example, this coin has a clear obv. legend reading AVT M IOV ΦIΛIΠΠOC CEB, which on a coin dated AD 244 can only belong to the elder Philip. Waddington’s attribution of Philip I’s obv. die (pl. XVI, 10) might need revision as well. This die probably belongs to Philip II.
