Herakleia ad Latmon (BC 165) Tetradrachm

ca 165-140 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 17.02g, 9h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Pegasos above the foreparts of five galloping horses / ΗΡΑΚΛΕΩΤΩΝ, club; below, two monograms flanking an owl standing right; all within oak wreath. Near EF, attractive dark iridescent toning.
