Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE31 (19.34g, 6h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust left, seen from front, holding spear forward and shield decorated with aegis; countermarks: laureate head right within circular incuse and uncertain / Boule standing right, facing Demos standing left, each holding scepter and supporting small round shield between them. VF, dark brown patina.
