Septimius Severus and Julia Domna. AE43 - Medallion (52.68g), Magistrate Klaudianos Terpandros. Busts of Septimius Severus; laureate and draped and Julia Domna, draped, facing each other; in between oblong countermark, laureate bust of Caracalla right / Statue of emperor on base with patera and scepter; below, Victimarius killing sacrificial bull. Very rare. Brown patina, very fine.
