Magnesia (BC 465-459) Hemiobol - Themistokles

Themistokles, ca 465-459 BC. AR Hemiobol (8mm, 0.32g, 4h). Barley grain; ΘE to left, meander pattern to right / Male head (Themistokles?) right, wearing diadem; [M]-A across field; all within incuse square. Near VF, toned, some cleaning scratches on reverse. Perhaps the second known.

The examples in Nollé and Wenninger and the Gorny & Mosch sale have Θ-E flanking the grain and lack the meander pattern.
