Messalina, wife of Claudius. Augusta, 41-48 AD. AE17 (3.06g) Draped bust of Messalina right / Zeus standing left, holding eagle and sceptre. Good VF, dark green patina with earthen encrustation. Rare portrait issue of Messalina in her own name.
