Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE32 (21.15g). Laureate bust of Caracalla right, AVTOK KAI M AV ANTΩNEINOC CEB / Athena, riding quadriga, holding thunderbolt and snake-fringed shield, AΔP ΔIOKAICAPEΩN. (See # 406 for same two countermarks.) Attractive very fine.
