Severus Alexander, 222-235 AD. AE20 (6.15g). IMP SEV ALE - XANDER AVG, radiate head right / DEO CVPIDIN - I COL IC IL A(?) PA, Eros, nude except chlamys over left shoulder, standing facing, looking right, holding his left hand against hip and extended right hand over small column with head of Hermes (herm). Extremely rare, VF. Hoeft coll.

The reverse shows the famous statue of Eros from Parium made by Praxiteles (4th century BC).
