Kyzikos (BC 500-450) EL Stater

late 6th century BC. EL Stater (15.63g). Prow of galley left, with ram in the form of a winged forepart of collared wolf or dog; below, tunny left / Quadripartite incuse square. Extremely rare, the finest of five specimens known of which only three are in private hands. Extremely fine.
