Abydos (BC 500-475) Obol

Asia Minor, uncertain mint, ca 500 BC. AR Trihemiobol (1.03g). Bird standing right with closed wings and head reverted / Irregular incuse punch. Very rare. Of lovely style and in exceptional state of preservation, toned and extremely fine. Ex M&M list 538 (1990), 44.
