Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE38 (25.71g, 12h). Paulos, magistrate. Laureate and draped bust right / Septimius standing left, sacrificing from patera over altar and holding scepter, being crowned by Demeter(?) standing behind him. Fine, dark greenish-brown patina, obverse metal flaws. Rare. Frederick Coll.
