Severus Alexander, 222-235 AD. AE23 (7.17g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / COL - ALE - AV / TRO, perspective view of the distyle temple of Apollo Smintheus with front-side to right. The long-side shows a brickwork, the roof is covered with square plates, clipeus in pediment. Within statue of the god right, holding bow and arrow, quiver on back, tripod at feet. Rare. VF.
