ca 480-450 BC. AR Stater (8.19g, 11h). Boar walking right, head lowered, ΜΑΘVΜΝΑ[ΙΟΣ] above / Head of Athena right, wearing disc earring, necklace and helmet adorned with volute spiral and spike; within linear dotted border in shallow incuse square. Toned, with lightly corroded surfaces, otherwise, good VF. Rare. Ex Bank Leu 45 (5/1988), lot 210; Gillet Coll., 1127.
