Kyzikos (BC 440-430) EL Stater

ca 440-430 BC. EL Stater (16.08g, 21mm). Head of Athena facing three-quarters right with triple-crested Attic helmet, hair in heavy, twisted locks on either side of the head; below tunny right / Quadripartite incuse square with slightly granulated fields. Rare. Excellent style. Well centered. Irregular, triangular flan. EF.
