AÎ›EÎžANÎ”POC KTIC AÎ OÎ›Î›Î©NIA - T, head of Alexander III the Great as Herakles in lion-skin scalp right / AÎ OÎ›Î›Î©N - IA.Î›Y - IÎ›[EÎ©]N(sic!), City-goddess of Apollonia, holding cult-statue of Apollo with kithara and plektron, standing right and City-goddess of Ilion, holding cult-statue of Athena with shield and spear, standing left, both in long garment and wearing kalathos, clasping hands over girlanded and burning altar; behind left figure TÎ©N (for AÎ OÎ›Î›Î©NIATÎ©N), K beneath Î›V (for Î›VKÎ©N); in ex. OMONOIA. Very rare, F+. Hoeft coll.

Apollonia Mordiaion (today Uluborlu) was located near Apameia Cibotus at the river Hippophoras. Its title AÎ OÎ›Î›Î©NIATÎ©N Î›VKÎ©N Î˜PAKÎ©N KOÎ›Î©NÎ©N suggests that in Imperial times, Lykians and Thracians were settled in Apollonia (HN).
