Apollonia Mordiaion (AD 253-268) AE 42 - Gallienus

Gallienus, 253-268 AD. AE42 - Medallion (28.04g, 5h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ΑΠΟΛ-ΛΩ-ΝΙ-ΑΤ-ΩΝ ΛV ΘΡ ΚΟ, octastyle temple set on three-tiered base, eagle(?) in pediment; within, Gallienus standing left, holding phiale(?) and sceptre. Choice VF, rough brown surfaces with orichalcum highlights. Rare. Drewry Coll., purchased from Spink, 6/1983.
