Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE33 (22.00g), dated CY 241 (209/210 AD). Laureate and cuirassed bust left, holding spear pointed forwards and shield decorated with gorgon’s head; countermark - Nike left (?) / AMICOY ELEY-QERAC ETOVC, Zeus seated left, holding Nike and sceptre; CMA (date) in exergue. green and brown patina, light roughness. Fine. Apparently unpublished. Drewry Coll.
