Timbriada (AD 193-217) AE 35 - Julia Domna

Julia Domna, wife of Septimius Severus, mother of Caracalla and Geta, Augusta, 193-217 AD. AE35 (27.53g, 6h). Draped bust right; countermark: TI in circle / Distyle temple with statue of Kybele seated left on lion throne, holding patera and cornucopiae. Near VF, dark brown patina, cleaning scratches. Rare city. Apparently all known specimens of this coin bear the countermark, which is likely an abbreviation of the city name.
