Sinope (BC 330-250) Drachm

ca 330-300 BC. Female head left, wearing ampyx and sphendone, triple pendant earring, and pearl necklace / ΣΙΝΩ, sea eagle with spread wings alighting left on dolphin left, ΑΓΡΕΩ (magistrate) under wing. Beautiful mint state. Displayed at Cincinnati Art Museum, 1994-2008, no. 84; acquired from Baldwin's, 8/1970.
