Kolybrassos (AD 235-238) AE 17 - Maximinus I

Maximinus I, 235-238 AD. AE17 (2.83g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Hermes standing left, holding purse and caduceus. Good VF, attractive dark green patina. Ex Krizan Coll.; ex Levante Coll. (CNG Elec. Auc. 106 (1/2005), lot 200).

This coin shares it's reverse die with Gordian III and Tranquillina (see respectively SNG Levante Supp. 47 and SNG Levante 338).
