ca 385-350 BC. AR Stater (10.75g, 6h). Head of Athena right, wearing Attic helmet adorned with griffin / ΣΟΛΕΩΝ, bunch of grapes on stalk with two tendrils and vine leaf; PE to left, AI to right. Beautifully toned, a superb piece. Extremely fine. Ex Sotheby (Zurich, 10/1993), lot 793; ex Numismatic Fine Arts 30 (12/1992), lot 110.
