Pompeiopolis (AD 238-244) AE 34 - Gordian III

Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE34 - 6 Assaria (16.59g), dated year 306 (240/1 AD). Radiate and cuirassed bust right, aegis on cuirass / Apollo standing left, bow case over shoulder, holding branch over altar. Good VF, dark green patina, die break on obverse. Ex von Aulock Collection, 5894; Ex Lockett XII (1961), lot 2965.
