Maximus, Caesar, 235/6-238 AD. AE29 (14.16g, 6h). C • IUL • UЄΠ • MAXIMUΓ CAЄГ (sic), laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Maximinus I right / She-wolf standing right under tree, suckling the twins. Good VF, attractive earthen green patina. Rare with portrait of Maximinus I and obverse legend for Maximus. Krizan Coll.; ex CNG 53 (3/2000), lot 1138.
