Trebonianus Gallus, 251-253 AD. AE33 (18.04g, 7h). Dated CY 319 (251/2 AD). Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right / Athlete crowning himself and holding palm branch. Fine, brown patina.

The Greek legend AGWN KPICIMOC translates as “the decisive contest,” a term that appears nowhere else in the literature on Greeks festivals and games.
