Septimius Severus, 193-211 AD. AE38 (30.79g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right; countermark: Nike on globe / Nike standing right, presenting wreath to emperor standing left, holding spear. Fine, brown patina. From the Ian Roper Collection.
