Anazarbos (AD 222) AE 26 - Severus Alexander

Severus Alexander, as Caesar, 222 AD. AE26 - Triassarion (12.16g, 12h). Bareheaded, draped and cuirassed bust right / Demiourgos crown surrounding inscription. Near VF, patina stripped. Very rare, this coin the sole example cited by Ziegler. Ex Krizan Coll.; Ex Levante Coll. (CNG Elec. Auc. 106 (1/2005), lot 145).
