(Nikaia?) Domitian, 81-96 AD. AE26 (12.82g, 7h). Laureate head right / Nike advancing left, holding shield and palm. Near VF, greenish-brown patina, a few breaks in the patina around the edge. Extremely rare - only a single specimen cited by RPC, this possibly being the second known. Tricarico coll.

Actually this is an unpublished variant with obv. legend AY Î”OMITIANOÎ£ KAIÎ£AP Î£EBAÎ£TOÎ£ Î“EP; regular RPC 709 has obverse legend AYT Î”OMITIANOC KAIÎ£AP Î£EBAÎ£TOÎ£; RPC 709 var. published on S2 supplement has Î‘YÎ¤ Î”ÎŸÎœIÎ¤IÎ‘ÎÎŸÎ£ ÎšÎ‘IÎ£Î‘Î¡ Î£Î•Î’ Î“Î•Î¡
