Septimius Severus, 193-211 AD. AR Drachm (3.19g, 20mm, 6h). Dated RY 12 (AD 204). AY Λ• CЄΠ • CЄ-OYH Π AYΓ, laureate head right / Mt. Argaeus surmounted by star; ЄT IB (date) in exergue. Unpublished in the standard references with this obverse legend. EF. A rare inclusion of Severus’ cognomen (Π = Pertinax) on Caesarean coinage, particularly in silver.
