Vedevie and Perikle, Dynasts, ca 370 BC. AR 1/8 Stater (1.24g, 2h). Antiphellus. [FF]E, Lion to right, attacking bull kneeling to left, head lifted / Bust of Athena facing, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet ornamented with a winged siren, and a chlamys tied beneath her chin; triskeles to left. Toned and attractive. Extremely fine. Ex Monnaies et Medailles XXVIII (6/1964), lot 182.
