Myra (AD 238-244) AE 31 - Gordian III

Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE31 (19.24g, 12h). AYT KAI M ANT ΓOPΔIANOC CЄB, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / MYPЄ [HΩ]N, column surmounted by statue of Apollo Propylaeus (?) standing right, holding bow and spear; laurel tree on either side at base of column; all surrounded by fence. VF, dark green patina with earthen overtones, some roughness on obverse. Extremely rare.
