Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE35 (25.31g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Hercules standing left, destroying Lernaean Hydra; quiver and bow to right. Good VF, green patina with pale brick-red overtones, minor smoothing. Rare. Ex Cain Coll.
