Head of Herakles facing, slightly inclined to right, wearing a lionâ€™s skin headdress tied at his neck / Nike crouching to left on a club, raising her right hand to inscribe the legend [HP]AKÎ›EIA. Some light porosity, of wonderful classical style, toned, gVF and extremely rare. Prospero coll.; purchased from Spink & Son Ltd., London (3/1987) US $10,000.
