ca 530-520 BC. AR Obol (1.01g). Head of lion right with jaws open, tongue protruding; small linear rectangular at truncation / Head of Aphrodite right, hair in sakkos and falling down neck in dotted plaits, wearing disc-shaped earring; all within incuse square. Very rare. Almost extremely fine. Ex Prof. S. Pozzi and R. C. Lockett collections; and ex Naville & Cie., Geneva 1 (Lucerne 1921), 2393, and Glendining & Co., London - Lockett coll. XII / Greek IV (1961), 2358.
