Kaunos (BC 490-470) Stater

ca 490-480 BC. AR Stater (11.82g). Winged male figure left; monogram to lower right / Incuse of four tilted squares around a central object (fish?); the titled squares each containing an object (monogram, bullâ€™s head, lionâ€™s head, and cock[?]) upon a granulated field. VF, toned. Extremely rare, one of three known.
