ca 450-430 BC. AR Stater (11.68g, 7h). Iris running left, her head turned back, holding kerykeion (caduceus) in right hand and wreath in left / Triangular baetyl with handle on either side of the apex; to left and right, granulated patterns in the form of stylized birds; all within incuse square. Attractively toned, perfectly centered and of splendid classical style, an exceptional coin of great beauty. EF.
