Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE38 (19.83g, 6h). Dated CY 217 (240/1 AD). Radiate head right / Hercules standing right, leaning on club draped with lion’s skin and set on rock; ZIC (date) to left. VF, dark green patina, roughness and light adjustment marks on obverse, reverse slightly double struck. From Group CEM.
