C. Fannius, Propraetor, 49 BC. AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm (12.16g). Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / C. FAN PONT PRO, two serpents on either side of tetrastyle temple with a draped standing figure holding a patera and sceptre; ΜΑΝΤΙΘΕΟΣ ΜΑΝΤΙΘΕΟΥ below, two flutes right. Toned VF. Rare.
